Channel Uploader ("the tool") is a private tool used by one operator to upload and schedule videos on the operator's own YouTube channels. It uses YouTube API Services. The tool has no other users and is not offered to the public.
Through Google OAuth, the operator authorizes the tool to access the operator's own YouTube channels with the scopes youtube, youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl. The tool uses this access only to upload videos, set their metadata (title, description, tags, category, publish time) and thumbnails, and read back the operator's own channel and video details. It does not access any other person's data.
OAuth tokens and upload logs are stored only on the operator's own computer. They are not sent to any server other than Google's APIs. The tool does not use cookies, analytics or advertising, and keeps no database of YouTube data beyond a local log of the operator's own uploads (video IDs, titles and publish times).
The tool does not sell, share or disclose any data to third parties. Data is sent only to Google/YouTube as needed to perform uploads.
Access can be revoked at any time at Google security settings. Revoking access, or deleting the local token files, removes the tool's access; local logs are deleted together with the token files. Stored API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days, as required by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
The tool uses YouTube API Services. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
